We invite you to join with us to champion the inaugural #WhatWomenWant Day on Thursday, 6 April 2017!

Tweet throughout the day with us and spread the word - we'll be sharing what adolescent girls and young women across the world have called for throughout the #WhatWomenWant campaign. If you need inspiration, explore what young people want at http://whatwomenwant.format.com. We'll also be launching a new campaign report, the result of six months of consultation with adolescent girls and young women globally in 2016, #WhatWomenWant: A Transformative Framework for women, girls and gender equality in the context of HIV and sexual and reproductive health and rights.

#WhatWomenWant is powered by young women and partners who want to be meaningfully involved in making change for women and girls. Using social media, it offers an innovative vehicle to amplify new voices, meet young women where they are, connect with others, lead with lived expertise, bring their solutions to the table, and build across and between issues, sectors, and movements. In order to meet the ambitious targets set by the Sustainable Development Goals and other global commitments, we call for sustained investment in women-led partnerships and feminist organizing to advance gender equality.

Please join us on April 6 using the hashtag #WhatWomenWant. Use this social media guide and infographics below to target policy and decision makers in your country, and tag us @NetworkATHENA so we can help amplify your message!
